Q: Why is AETA moving to Dallas?

Even in the best of economic conditions, AETA Trade Show attendee traffic has been declining for the last several years. Dallas Market Center has dedicated full time staff to reach out to new and current buyers/retailers. In addition, the weather in Philadelphia was always difficult in January. Also, we strongly believe the Industry is stronger together.

Q: If I’m a buyer, do I have to be a member of AETA?

By registering and attending an AETA market at Dallas Market Center, you automatically receive a complimentary membership.

Q: What’s included in my AETA buyer membership?

  • Meal vouchers at market

  • Automatically entered into a hotel drawing for free travel to the next market

  • Access to the “Western & English @ DMC Market” Newsletter 5 times a year

  • AETA-branded lanyards upon arrival at market

Q: If I’m an exhibitor, do I have to be a member of AETA?

You are automatically a member of AETA when you lease a booth at the AETA International Trade Show at Dallas Market Center. Your membership fees are included in your booth rate.

Q: What is included in the booth rate?

  • Booth rates include complimentary equipment packages (tables, chairs, track lighting and either rolling racks or shelves)

  • Booth rates include meal vouchers for each day of the show

Q: How will the Dallas Market Center choose our booth locations?

Dallas will use the previous AETA floor plan as a guide for this new location.

Q: Is Dallas Market Center union run?

Dallas Market Center is not union. We do not charge drayage and you are able to move in and move out on your own.

Q: Do you offer storage between markets?

Dallas Market Center offers free storage between shows, as long as you leave your lease for the next show, and provide a 30% deposit, which goes towards your booth cost.

Q: What about booths that are stored in Philadelphia?

If your booth is being stored by GES, we will be able to facilitate the transportation to Dallas.

Q: Can you ship your product and booth prior to the show?

Yes, you can ship your booth and product prior to the show and it will be in your booth when you arrive at no additional cost.

Q: Are there height restrictions for your booth?

Yes, there is a height restriction of 8’ on the temporary floors. Nothing in your booth can be taller than 8’.

Q: Are AETA and WESA merging?

No, both organizations will be represented by Dallas Market Center and will work alongside each other in a parallel manner.

Q: Does the WESA show overlap the AETA show?

Yes, the WESA show will run Thursday, August 26th- Sunday, August 29th. The AETA show will run Tuesday, August 24th- Friday, August 27th, in conjunction with our Apparel & Accessories show.
